EuroPeds

Here is one of my favorite videos from when Danny went to EuroPeds in Michigan.   Dan is walking out to Jeff and Taylor meeting us curbside in Minneapolis after our flight home in April.  This is the first time they saw him walking with his crutches.  I just love it!

Catching Up

Here are a couple of pictures from Christmas that I especially like.  Sammy read the Christmas story to us from the book of Luke.  He did such a great job.  Maybe he will memorize it next year like Taylor and Jake did this year.  T and Jake were motivated by Grandma K's $25 reward for reciting it all by memory.  

We actually got a picture of all the boys smiling at the same time!  I think they were all really anticipating opening up gifts and eating all the snacks that were set in front of them!  We had such a nice Christmas day together, just our little family at our new house.  It was a very relaxing, cozy day.

Just getting started

  I am so excited to begin blogging.  I cannot believe it has taken me this long to begin journaling the life of our family.  It will be lots of fun to share pictures and stories and document the lessons we are learning as a family.  I hope you enjoy some of these first pictures we will post!

  The picture above is of Danny at sled hockey in Fargo.  He was able to participate in this sport with a group of kids from Hope, Inc.  He has enjoyed so many outing with these kids - everything from wheelchair soccer to roller skating to baseball to hockey.  In a couple of weeks our whole family will be going skiing with this group!  We cannot wait.  I will post some pictures for sure!
